Specifically defining your expectations is critical if you hope to have a positive and productive classroom. Visual supports are an excellent tool for students who need help following rules, understanding expectations for activities and transitions, and making choices. They are especially helpful for those who work with students on the autism spectrum as they tend to be visual learners. Participants will leave the training with a better understanding of how to clearly define and communicate expectations with students AND some ready-to-use visual supports.
