Kristi Richburg

Coordinator, MyDistrict Virtual School

Kristi is the Coordinator of MyDistrict Virtual School, a service of NEFEC. As an educator with more than 20 years of experience, she has worked in the classroom at multiple grade levels and in a variety of roles including classroom teacher, mathematics interventionist, gifted resource teacher, and technology specialist. She has also provided professional development on the topics of Differentiating Instruction for Mathematics and Science at no cost to Florida educators through Professional Development Alternatives PDA (http://www.fl-pda.org/).

Kristi has been an advocate of incorporating technology into teaching and learning since she began her teaching career. She believes that it is important to offer all students, regardless of geographic location, access to a customized, engaging, and authentic education experience. She enjoys sharing knowledge about online tools that support teaching and learning.
