Continuous Feeding

Standard Trays: Two 250-sheet bins; supports letter, legal, ledger, A4, 11x17"/A3, and B5.

Optional Trays: One 1000-sheet bin is optional (maximum size for bin is legal) Optional

Duplexing unit.

Adding Paper to the Input Bins

1. Grasp the sides of the bin and lift it slightly to pull it away from the printer. Set the bin on a level surface.

2. Raise the bin cover to its upright position and then lift it from the bin. Set the cover aside.

3. Gently tap up to 250 sheets of paper on the side of the stack to even them and then place the stack in the bin.

Note: Make sure that the size of paper you add matches the size selected on the metal page sensing tab located at the front of the input bin.

The paper jams if the paper is not matched properly. Also, do not load paper past the limit line on the paper bin. Overloading causes paper jams.

4. Replace the bin cover and re-insert the bin into the printer

Changing Input Bin Size

1. Loosen the three screws securing the back and side guides and remove the guides. Note: You may have to lift the bottom plate to remove the paper length guide.

2. Move the guides to the desired page size and secure each with a screw.

Note: Try not to change the paper guides more than necessary since this may strip the screws and cause fittings to become loose.

3. Select the appropriate metal page sensing tab (included in the accessory box) and place it in the tab holder.

Make sure the paper size and the size on the page sensing tab match. If not, irregular printing and paper jams occur.

4. Stick the appropriate page size decal to the side of the input bin.

Manual Feeding

Manual feeding is not a feature of the QMS PS-3200

Paper Output

1,500 sheets, face down; Offset stacking is supported. 100 sheets, face-up.
