Clinical Educator training is a requirement by FL Dept of Ed before a teacher may supervise an intern or be serve as a mentor in a beginning teacher program.
It is also a prerequisite to attend the state's trainer workshop to become a CET trainer.

The training is a blended model of an online Moodle course, face-to-face session, and independent implementation for a total of 20 professional learning hours.

* 8 hour CET Moodle course: increase knowledge through content reading, articles, discussion posts, and video scenarios.
* 6 hour face-to-face session: apply mentoring skills during collaborative activities.
* 6 hour follow-up implementation: complete the full mentoring cycle with a teacher or complete one of the micro-credentials: Growth Mindset, Lesson Planning Conference, or Effective Feedback.

The online module will begin Thursday, January 11, 2018 at 7:00 am and close Thursday evening, January 25 at 10:00 pm. The face-to-face meeting will be held on Friday, January 26, 2018 from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm.
