Participants will learn about recent enhancements to the Khan Academy coaching tools including a focus on Official SAT Practice and Khan Academy’s new mastery system to support student learning. This train-the-trainer session on Khan Academy is designed to prepare you to support students as they receive their PSAT results this December! Attendees will also learn more about the new College Board opportunity scholarships geared specifically towards supporting student’s productive practice on Khan Academy. https://opportunity.collegeboard.org/

2. Improve Your Score: $2,000: Show how practice pays off by improving your SAT score.

Khan Academy’s world-class practice tools are free for all students and include:
-Coaching Resources including the following features: Recommended SAT Skills to focus on based on class performance, lesson plans created by teachers for teachers available for skills in Math, Reading, and Writing, additional Khan Academy content, recent SAT activity by student, top recommended skills for practice, and individual progress by each student.
-Thousands of practice questions and instructional videos for various subject areas -Eight official SAT Practice Tests written by the College Board -Personalized recommendations for instruction and practice to help and for students to fill their knowledge gaps

Key Goals Those who attend will:
1. Learn to use the Khan Academy Coach Tool.
2. Learn the steps to successfully linking students’ College Board and Khan Academy accounts to create personalized learning road maps.
3. Learn strategies for integrating Khan Academy resources into daily lessons and activities.
