My name is Karin Gerold and I have been involved in Special Education for 26 years as a teacher of students with disabilities, Program Specialist at the District and State levels, and now as a Program Coordinator for the Multiagency Network for Students with Emotional/Behavioral Disabilities (SEDNET) and the Institute of Small and Rural Districts (ISRD). I hold Master's degrees in Special Education from The Florida State University (Go 'Noles!) and Educational Leadership from the American College of Education. I truly love working in this profession. I am originally from New England. As much as I enjoy the Florida beaches, my heart is in the mountains, especially during the Fall. I am married and have a son who is a freshman at the University of North Florida studying to become a teacher.
