Continuous Feeding

Standard Tray: 1 Mulit-Purpose Continuous Tray [capacity: 100 sheets]

This printer has a multi-purpose paper tray. The paper size selected through the front panel or software commands should match the size of the paper in the paper tray. If the paper size is different from the installed paper size, a paper jam may occur.

  1. Open the output tray (top cover) and extend the paper support.
  2. Open the paper tray.
  3. Separate the paper guides to the width of your paper. Refer to the size indicators above the paper guides.
  4. Fan the stack of paper to avoid a paper jam.
  5. Place the paper in the paper tray properly and adjust the paper guides to your paper size. The height of the paper should not exceed the limit mark on the paper guide.
  6. If the display does not show "ON LINE" press the On Line key to get ready to print.
  7. Make sure that the correct paper size is indicated by the paper size mark on the Display screen. Use the printer configuration menu to select the correct size.

U14 LOAD LGL Printer requires legal paper. Load legal paper and set to legal format in PAPER SIZE menu or force printing by ON LINE key.
U15 LOAD LTR Printer requires letter paper. Load letter paper and set to letter format in PAPER SIZE menu or force printign by the ON LINE key.
U16 LOAD EXEC Printer requires executive paper. Load executive paper and set to executive format in PAPER SIZE menu or force printign by the ON LINE key.
U17 LOAD A4 Printer requires A4. Load A4 paper and set to A4 format in PAPER SIZE menu or force printign by the ON LINE key.
U20 CHNG TONER Toner is low. Change toner cartridge soon.
U21 TONER EMPTY Over 50 copies tried with "CHNG TONER" cartridge displayed. Change toner cartridge.
U27 CHNG DRUM Drum unit reaches time for replacement. Install new drum unit. The printer will print approximately 100 pages after the message is displayed then the printer will automatically stop.
U29 CHK OPC/DOOR Drum unit is not installed correctly or door is open. Install drum unit or close the door.
U35 BUFFER FULL Receive buffer overflow. Power off then on.
U36 RAM OVERFLOW Page overflow, image overflow or download overflow has occurred. Press ON LINE key.
U37 PAGE FORMAT Overrun has occurred. Press ON LINE key.
U38 RE-DO FORMAT Format designation from format menu is not correct. Reset format.
