Font Test
1. Take printer OFF Line and press 2nd Function key. The display will now show 2ND FUNCTION.
2. Press the [TEST] key. The display will now show STATUS PRINT.
3. Press either the Up or Down arrow key until the display shows FONT LIST PRINT.
4. Press the [ENTER] key.

Continuous Paper cassettes [capacity: 250 sheets each] and manual

Optional Trays: Legal, Envelope
1. Remove the paper cassette from the printer pulling straight out.
2. Remove the paper cassette cover.
3. Fan the stack of paper, place it in the paper cassette and push it under the clips.
4. Install the paper
cassette cover.
5. Insert the paper cassette into the printer until it is firmly in place.
NOTE: The paper cassette with manual feed must be installed in the upper slot.
Manual Feeding
1. Install the paper cassette with manual feed in the upper slot of the printer.
2. Adjust the manual feed
guide on the paper cassette cover to fit your sheet of paper.
3. Be sure that the READY indicator is lit. Insert a sheet of paper between the manual feed guide and paper guide until it stops making sure the right edge of the paper is against the paper guide.
4. Send data from the computer to the printer. the printer will start printing when page data is completed.

Both the serial and parallel interface connections are located on the back of the printer towards the upper right corner.

is displayed.
4. Press the [ENTER] button to select this interface.
5. Put the printer back on-line.
