The professional learning will begin Monday, October 29th as virtual learning on Moodle for 4 weeks. Each week, mentors will be provided professional readings and resources for developing a growth mindset and having reflective conversations. A selection of activities will be provided for practical application in the classroom and mentoring opportunities.
On Thursday, November 29th, the mentors will attend a face-to-face session for collaborative learning and sharing experiences.
To participate in the training, the mentor must have completed or be currently enrolled in CET training and is mentoring a teacher.
This professional learning fulfills the required ongoing mentor training in section 1012.56(8), F.S.
