Randy LaRusso, Project Manager for Project ACCESS, a Florida Department of Education discretionary project, in partnership with FDLRS/NEFEC, will provide training for teachers of students using Access Points in inclusionary or self contained settings. This training is appropriate for both general and exceptional education teachers, and their administrators . As a result of this training, participants will:
• Know where to find resources and supports for the teaching and learning of Florida Standards Access Points
• Understand Florida’s model of access to the standards for Students with a Significant Cognitive Disability (SwSCD)
• Explore online resources for the teaching and learning of Access Points and how the resources work together for planning and implementing lesson
Please bring your fully charged laptop or iPad to training.
Subs will be reimbursed to the school/district and Project ACCESS will pay mileage for participants attending from outside of Putnam County.
