Since teacher performance will now be evaluated based on student achievement, knowing how to target individual learning needs will be critical. Teachers attending this training will acquire a comfort level with analyzing FCAT data as they learn to navigate through the data to improve student achievement and enhance instructional effectiveness.
Administrators attending the training will be able to target specific areas of need and assist teachers in their schools. Training includes an in-depth understanding of the School Grade and AYP Reports, Classroom Trend Reports, Learning Gains and FCAT test design. Participants will learn how to integrate FCAT data with progress monitoring data to make instructional decisions in the classroom.
Sessions will be 4-6 PM on September 20 & 27, October 4, 11 & 18, 2011.
