The coaching program is an entry-level introduction to working with educators in the role of an instructional coach. Throughout this 10-week course, participants will learn about coaching, create/implement a coaching plan, and develop valuable skills through facilitated interaction with peers in a blended learning format.

Course objectives:
-Understand coaching models
-Use planning tools to prepare high quality instruction
-Engage in a coaching plan
-Apply problem solving and professionalism as a coach
-Complete all assessments, activities, and sessions for 3 synchronous professional learning sessions and 1 asynchronous introductory coaching course

Course Requirements:
-Applicants will need supervisor approval (e.g., principal, director)
-Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years teaching experience
-Applicants must have a Coaching Program Approval Form completed.

Course Syllabus: A copy of the course syllabus will be made available prior to the start of the course.
