This is the first of three sessions designed to provide Civics and Government teachers and instructional coaches with a deeper sense of practical application around the new Civics and Government benchmarks. The session will focus on high-leverage practices with a focus on alignment and evidence of student thinking. Teachers will walk away with a complete unit of study that can be implemented immediately following the session. Subsequent sessions will provide additional insights, strategies, and resources.
