Throughout our time together, you’ll have numerous opportunities to collaborate with fellow district-level ELL supporters and engage in meaningful, participant-driven conversations. Topics may include, but are not limited to:
-ELL Plans
-Updates on FDOE ESOL compliance requirements
-Navigating FDOE standards implementation
-Monitoring and documenting ELL services
-Supporting accurate identification and exit procedures
-Data reviews: ACCESS for ELLs scores, and school accountability impacts
-Best practices for integrating ELD into core instruction
-Building ESOL capacity among content teachers and school leaders
-Supporting paraprofessionals and bilingual staff with targeted PL
-Coaching and mentoring for new ESOL teachers or coordinators
