Common Core Instructional Alignment
There will be a whole group presentation on icpalms and the new cognitive complexity ratings for ELA.
Then there will be 3 breakout small group sessions with a facilitator. Participants will be able to attend 3 of the 4 following 1-hour sessions of their choice:
1. Transition to student-centered instruction for CCSS and the relationship to teacher observation
2. Planning with the CCSS: Unpacking, Chunking, etc.
3. Creating Learning Goals and Scales
4. Classroom Assessment:Aligning to Instruction and CCSS (complexity, content, format)
