An interactive e-learning experience that offers an in-depth look at assessment that meets the needs of 21st century teaching and learning. In this course, teachers see how assessment strategies can benefit their teaching practices and their students' learning.

This course is one of the core courses for the 21st Century Educator and 21st Century Educator Leader Certificates. For additional information about the certificates, please visit our Intel® Courses webpage at http://www.nefec.org/elearning/intelcourses/. There is a link on the right-hand side of the page to our course flyer which lists the course dates for 2012-2013 and 2013-2014.

NEFEC's courses are for inservice points and are not college level courses. The Florida Department of Education will not accept NEFEC's courses if they are submitted by an individual for recertification or endorsement. They must be submitted through a district as part of their approved Master Inservice Plan.

Participants are responsible for following their district’s requirements to obtain inservice credit and endorsement. If you are unsure if your district will accept courses offered through NEFEC, you will need to check with your district Staffing Development office.

*NOTE: NEFEC Member districts include: Baker, Bradford, Columbia, Dixie, Flagler, FSU Lab School, Gilchrist, Hamilton, Lafayette, Levy, Monroe, Nassau, Putnam, Suwannee, Union, PK Yonge DRS, and FSDB.
