Virtual Learning Coordinator

Kristi is a Virtual Learning Coordinator for the Florida Diagnostic & Learning Resources System (FDLRS). As an educator with more than 15 years of experience, she has worked in the classroom at multiple grade levels and a variety of roles including classroom teacher, mathematics interventionist, gifted resource teacher, and technology specialist. Currently, she is providing professional development on the topics of Differentiating Instruction for Mathematics and Science at no cost to Florida educators through Professional Development Alternatives PDA (http://www.fl-pda.org/).

Kristi has been an advocate of incorporating technology into teaching and learning since she began her teaching career. She is a Certified Microsoft Innovative Educator Trainer and enjoys sharing knowledge about accessibility features in multiple operating systems.

In addition to providing professional development, Kristi is passionate about incorporating online tools to support classroom instruction, using accessibility features to provide a personalized learning environment, and emerging technologies and their use in the classroom.
